Today was a dull dreary Nova Scotian day so after church I decided to finish the little basket with linen stitching. The top is actually a canning jar lid, covered with padding and the lid knob are two beads glued together shhhhhh!LOL! This was a freebie from
http://www.thestitcherhood.com/. The little basket I bought for 25 cents at a yard sale. It was stitched with Hand-dyed Fibres Caribbean Reef. I am pleased with the way it turned out. Its been quite a while since I stitched on linen. I have enough thread to stitch a small biscornu or scissor fob as well.
